Why You Should Not Use Wix For Your Website

Wix websites come with an effortless ease to set up and that makes it convenient for even the most layman person to be able to build one with minimal technical knowledge and skill. Wix makes it easy to jump right in, throw collectively an internet page and post it.  before you do, you want to stop and assume, and work out what your enterprise desires for your online presence. When you create a website using a DIY site builder, you are likely not designing it with a good user experience which will diminish result in lost customers and revenue. You will also lose brand recognition and uniqueness because there are a lot of other customers all using the same website templates.

Professional web designers will layout a user flows using objective-based designs that are likely to increase engagement and customers. Websites designed by user experience professionals are more likely to engage the visitors and funnel them through a user flow, increasing your conversions and customers.

Wix also always has control over your business website and its content. Every business should own their web property and they should have a relationship with their web host company.  A Website Development company  is just as valuable and important for you to understand and maintain as any other business asset.
For a tool that caters to beginners, Wix.com is missing the mark as it is not SEO friendly. Most troubling is the link structure that Wix.com employs.

In every single Wix.com site URL, you will notice a # or "hashbang" which is being served through JavaScript, and in turn, is not readable by search engines. Because Wix limits you to just one page (the Flash portions make it seem like you have multiple pages, but technically, you do not) you decrease the amount of content Google can crawl. Decreased content means fewer keywords. Fewer keywords mean fewer searchers and traffic. This means you cannot create multiple kinds of keywords, page titles, or metadata to be indexed for other search terms.

It is like having a phone book with only 1 page.
Wix websites load slower than those built on HTML and this will lose people who do want to read about you. Slow-loading Wix sites, that are data and graphics laden, turn off all mobile users and churn through limited data plans faster. Only desktop users can see your site and they will not wait longer than 5-7 seconds for a site to load. Slow loading sites will turn visitors off, and first impressions on the web can be everything. It can keep someone from visiting your site again. With a slow loading website, you will be further penalized by search engines because they know that your site provides poor user experience and they will not want to vouch for it.

Customer trust is particularly important and when you build a cheap site, customers know. Upon creating a website with Wix, you will notice that there is a large ad that explains the website was created with WIX. This can dramatically lower your management rate and brand awareness.  A creative work is often undersigned by the artist, not put up on the ad.
There are a plethora of cons when it comes to using Wix to build your website. You may not see any traffic or visitors and if you do, they will likely leave because the website has not built enough trust in the company. Customers are smarter these days and they know the difference between a pre-made template and a custom-designed website.
